About me

I am currently a PhD student at TU Braunschweig in the research group Stochastics and Applications under the supervision of Benedikt Jahnel.

Research

Research interests

Broadly speaking, my research interests fall under the heading “random systems with interactions”.

For me, this often means studying physically motivated models originating from statistical mechanics, mostly using techniques at the interface of probability theory and analysis. In particular, I am interested in interacting particle systems, stochastic analysis, functional inequalities, large deviation principles, concentration of measure, point processes, random walks, and spectral theory.

Teaching

Both before and during my PhD studies, I have assisted with teaching introductory and advanced courses in analysis, probability theory, stochastic processes, and financial mathematics for bachelor’s and master’s students at TU Braunschweig. Some of these courses were also aimed at students in data science, engineering, education, and chemistry.

My responsibilities have included developing course exercises and exam questions, discussing solutions at the blackboard, and supervising student teaching assistants.
